Three of the nation’s four remaining undefeated teams own the top three spots in this week’s Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20. As it has done all season, defending champion Le Moyne continues its hold on number one, followed by RMAC rivals Lindenwood and Regis at two and three, respectively.

Regis moved up one place after a lopsided win Saturday over No. 14 Colorado Mesa, while No. 5 Rollins fell two spots this week after its first setback of the year, a 16-11 loss to Florida Southern.

LIU Post, which had been a top 10 fixture for most of the season before sliding out three weeks ago, extended its winning streak to seven games and returns to the upper half of the ranking again at number 10. The Pioneers are the only newcomer in this week’s top 10.

Several major conference showdowns in the week ahead will likely spur more movement in the polls. In the Sunshine State Conference, No. 5 Rollins hosts No. 6 Tampa, and No. 7 Florida Southern visits undefeated No. 9 St. Leo. In the RMAC, No. 2 Lindenwood welcomes No. 3 Regis on Sunday. In the NE10, No. 4 Adelphi hosts No. 13 Bentley.

HOT

Bentley (+3)

The Falcons have rebounded from their only loss with four straight wins over the last two weeks. Sophomore Julia Glavin had three goals and two assists in Saturday’s 15-8 win over S. Connecticut State, surpassing the 100-point mark in just her 25th career game. Bentley’s back loaded schedule, featuring four ranked opponents, kicks off Wednesday with a visit to No. 4 Adelphi.

Queens (+3)

The Royals extended their winning streak to eight with Saturday’s 24-2 win over Mars Hill. Eleven different players scored for Queens, which improved to 6-0 in South Atlantic Conference games. Queens faces its toughest test since playing Florida Southern in early March, hosting No. 8 Limestone on Friday.

Grand Valley State (+3)

The Lakers have won three straight since their loss to No. 12 UIndy and solidified their hold on second place in the GLIAC. Carly Shisler and Sarah Stagaard combined for 10 goals in Saturday’s 17-9 win over Davenport.

NOT

East Stroudsburg (-4)

One week after posting its best win of the year, over No. 4 West Chester, ESU was beaten by unranked Indiana (Pa.) 12-10, suffering its first PSAC loss of the year. IUP tallied the final three goals of the game to secure the come-from-behind win.

Mercy (-3)

The Stallions are left pondering “what could have been” as they dropped a pair of one goal games against ranked foes. Mercy lost 9-8 at No. 11 West Chester, and followed four days later with a narrow 18-17 home loss to No. 10 LIU Post in ECC play. Mercy rallied from a five-goal second half deficit against LIU Post before the Pioneers scored the game-winner with two minutes remaining.
