The 2021 Premier Lacrosse League season is mere months away. On June 4, the third season in league history gets underway when Cannons LC and Redwoods LC play under the lights at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

After the 2020 PLL Championship Series was held at Zions Bank Stadium in Utah as a bubbled tournament due to COVID-19, the league is returning to a multi-city, tour-based model for its third season.

With eight teams now in the league, each weekend of regular-season action will see at least five games played, with two teams each weekend playing a second game. The only exception is the final week of the regular season in Albany, when there will be six games played.

Some highlights:

  • The All-Star Game will be July 18 in San Jose, Calif.

  • The first round of the playoffs will be held in Salt Lake City, followed by a two-week break before the semifinals in Philadelphia.

  • The championship game will be played at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
