Radford kept the game within reach in the first half, ending the first 30 minutes down just 9-4. Radford had earned its place in Sunday’s title game by beating Campbell on Friday — it’s first-ever Big South tournament victory.
But Hormes and the lethal High Point offense turned the corner in the second half, scoring nine of the 11 goals in the period.
High Point will learn who it plays next during the NCAA’s Selection Show on Sunday, May 9, at 9 p.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
