Adelphi keeps answering every question asked of it this season. At 10-0, the Panthers have beaten six teams currently ranked in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Men’s Top 20, including a 13-9 victory over Pace last Wednesday.
In total, Adelphi has a top 5 offense and defense through 10 games — making it easy to understand why it stands at No. 1. The offense is scoring 16.90 points per game, while the defense is holding opponents to 7.70 goals per game.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Belmont Abbey picked up a statement win over Mount Olive thanks to five goals from Noah Haas. Also notable, Florida Southern (also considered) set the Division II record with 35 goals in a win over Emmanuel (Ga.).

HOT
Queens (N.C.) (+1)
Make it six straight wins for the Royals, who downed Coker 17-6 last Saturday. The lone loss coming to Limestone by a goal, Queens has taken down Belmont Abbey, a team that looks better with every week.
NOT
Mount Olive (-3)
A five-goal loss to Belmont Abbey isn’t the best result, but it’s far from a season-ending one. Falling to Abbey snapped a six-game win streak, and a chance to rebound approaches this weekend when Lindenwood comes to town.
NEW
Lynn
Three straight wins, including one over a solid Rollins team, moves the Fighting Knights back into the top 20 for the time being. The NYIT victory doesn’t hold as much weight as it once did, last weekend’s 10-8 decision over Rollins could be Lynn’s best win yet.
OUT
Saint Anselm
A team that started its season just two short weeks ago, Saint Anselm has a lack of results against top teams in 2019. The combined score of the Hawks’ losses to LIU Post, Adelphi and Le Moyne is 47-22. Merrimack is next on Tuesday.
