U.S. senior women’s national team star Alyssa Murray is one of 24 candidates in the running for the “Greatest Athlete of All Time” award from The World Games, with the schedule to begin Friday, January 8. You can vote for your favorite candidate once every 24 hours.
On Wednesday, Jan. 20, the top 10 candidates will advance, keeping the votes they’ve already accrued. The voting ends Monday, Feb. 1, and all votes will be visible on the site.

Murray has been a member of the U.S. national team since 2014 after a career at Syracuse during which she was a two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist. The attacker led the U.S. in goals (14) and points (19) in five games during its England tour in the summer of 2016. She helped the U.S. to 4-0 record at the 2016 Team USA Fall Classic with seven goals and six assists.
When women’s lacrosse made its debut at The World Games in 2017, Murray led all scorers with 19 points (12 goals). The U.S. went undefeated and won the gold medal.
