Atlas LC has traded midfielder Paul Rabil and the sixth pick in the 2021 Entry Draft to Cannons LC in exchange for the ninth pick in the 2021 Entry Draft, eighth pick in the 2021 College Draft and the Cannons' first-round pick in the 2022 College Draft.

Rabil was selected No. 1 overall by the Boston Cannons in Major League Lacrosse in 2008, and although the Cannons have dropped "Boston" from their name to fit PLL naming conventions, this is something of a homecoming for the PLL co-founder.
Cannons coach Sean Quirk said acquiring Rabil was a "no-brainer." Ben Rubeor, Rabil's former coach with the Atlas, said trading Rabil was part of an effort to "go for it" and rebuild.
That's indeed what Atlas LC appears to be doing, stockpiling picks to retool ahead of the upcoming season. Joe Keegan tweeted the picks that the Atlas now have in the College Draft for 2021 and 2022.
