Hogan, an All-ECAC lacrosse player at Penn State who transitioned to football and became a go-to weapon for Tom Brady during numerous playoff runs, made the Cannons LC roster out of training camp but was not activated for Week 1.
It remains to be seen how head coach Sean Quirk will alter his roster to make room for Hogan, who has not played in an official lacrosse game since 2010.
The Cannons are 1-1 after playing two games opening weekend. They play the two-time PLL champion Whipsnakes LC at noon Saturday on NBC.
