Chris Hogan's professional lacrosse career — at least for now — seems to be over.
Hogan, who made national headlines by joining the Premier Lacrosse League after an NFL career in which he won Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, is signing with the New Orleans Saints. With Michael Thomas recovering from surgery, the team required additional depth at wide receiver.
The #Saints are signing veteran WR Chris Hogan, source says. Obviously impressed in his workout today. So his NFL career resumes and lacrosse gets put on hold.

Hogan began the season with Cannons LC before Whipsnakes LC acquired him a few weeks into the campaign. The former All-ECAC Penn State midfielder played in two games this summer, recording one ground ball.
This may not be the last we see of Hogan with a crosse in his hands, but it's back to the gridiron for now.
