Best of Lacrosse 2023: Vote for Best Men's Performance

We love good, fundamental team lacrosse. But we also love when one superstar completely pops off and wows everyone watching.

There were incredible individual efforts in 2023, from established threats to freshman newcomers. We honor them here.

BEST MEN’S PERFORMANCE

BRENNAN O’NEILL

The United States needed a gold-medal performance to beat Canada in the world championships this summer in San Diego, and the team got it from the youngest player on the roster. Brennan O’Neill had five goals, including tallies that pushed the U.S. lead to 8-6 and 9-7. The Duke star finished the tournament with 14 goals and five assists.

LIAM ENTENMANN

Liam Entenamann stifled Duke in the NCAA championship game, making a season-high 18 saves as the Irish beat the Blue Devils 13-9. His save percentage of 66.7 percent was his third-highest of the season.

JACK BOYDEN

Jack Boyden is now at Virginia, but he sure did love playing against Amherst while he was at Tufts. His entire 2023 game log is nutty, and he twice crushed Amherst — once for four goals and nine assists and once for six goals and six assists.

BRAYDEN BROWN

The now-sophomore at Taravella (Fla.) High set a national single-game saves record with 57 in a wild seven-overtime game. The save total was confirmed by Mike Loveday of LaxNumbers.
