1. James Madison downs Maryland in women’s lacrosse for the second straight season.
The Dukes jumped out to an early lead and held off a furious rally from the Terps, using a late save from Kat Buchanan to seal an 8-7 victory. Also on Wednesday, Princeton exploded in the second half en route to an 18-12 win over Rutgers in Piscataway.

2. Adam Poitras sends Loyola home with an overtime win over Towson.
The two crosstown rival met on Wednesday in men’s lacrosse in a back-and-forth battle that needed overtime to decide the winner. Poitras came from x and scored the winner to give the Greyhounds the 12-11 victory.
