This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition.
Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.
Louis Perfetto, Boston University
Boston U stormed back from an eight-goal deficit to beat Colgate in the regular-season finale, and it Perfetto made it possible. He factored into six straight goals during a 7-0 run that cut the deficit to one in the third quarter, assisting on three straight goals scored by Brendan Kelly before depositing the next three goals himself.
He finished with three goals and five assists and leads the Patriot League with 77 points, which is a career high for the graduate student.
Evan Clement, Lewis
Clement had seven points for Lewis in its overtime defeat of Rockhurst. He had the game-tying goal with 19 seconds left in regulation, scoring on a man-up chance, and then he scored with 3:24 left in OT to win the game.
Lewis scored three goals in the game’s final 2:25, and the goal in OT to win, and Clement either scored or assisted all four of them.
Jesse Delinsky, Hamilton
Delinsky had four goals and one assist in the NESCAC quarterfinals against Tufts — one of the biggest upsets of the 2024 season. The biggest goal was the last, as Delinsky hit a game-winner in overtime, sending the NESCAC tournament brackets into shambles and delivering eighth-seeded Hamilton a win over the top seed.
