2024 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship Qualifiers Revealed
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the qualifiers and pairings for the 2024 NAIA Women’s Lacrosse National Championship hosted by the Savannah Sports Council.
The eight-team field will get underway in their quest to claim the red banner in Savannah, Ga., with games beginning on May 1 and running through May 4 when an NAIA national champion will be crowned at Memorial Stadium.
This year’s championship field includes five automatic qualifiers and three at-large selections. Automatic berths were given to teams that won their respective conference tournament title. The NAIA Women’s Lacrosse National Selection Committee determined the three at-large bids. This committee consists of NAIA head coaches and administrators from around the country.
Hudl TV will be the official home of the NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship streaming. It will broadcast all matches live at the final site in Savannah, Ga. Qualifier Highlights
- Seven of the eight teams in the field for 2024 return from a season ago except for Indiana Tech which qualifies for the first time.
- Three teams in the field have secured a Red Banner before with Lawrence Tech (Mich.), Benedictine (Kan.), and Keiser (Fla.).
- Five of the eight-team mascots represent an animal.All teams in the 2024 national championship field have a combined record of 111-25 or a .816 winning percentage.
