Three undefeated teams — Boise State, Cal Poly and CSU San Marcos — continue to occupy the top spots in the newest WCLA Division II Top 20 following the season’s lightest week of action.
No. 5 Vermont Club was one of the few ranked teams that played last week, with the Catamounts registering a pair of important wins over its league rival, No. 12 Providence. In the south, No. 6 College of Charleston suffered its first loss of the year, falling 16-12 against unranked Tennessee.
No. 8 Florida Atlantic was the week’s biggest mover, jumping four spots following its victory over South Florida Club. No. 19 Portland was the only newcomer in the ranking this week, replacing Villanova Club.
No. 1 Boise State, idle since March 10, returns to the field this week with games against Colorado School of Mines and Southern Utah. No. 3 CSU San Marcos, No. 11 New Hampshire Club and No. 17 Concordia are also back in action.
