A 3-0 week for Florida Club that included wins over No. 7 Florida State, No. 19 Auburn and Alabama has moved the Gators one step closer to the top in the newest WCLA Division I Top 20, settling at No. 2 just behind Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League rival Georgia.
The undefeated Bulldogs maintain their hold on No. 1 after posting wins over Vanderbilt Club and South Carolina.
No. 13 Northeastern made the biggest jump this week, climbing seven spots after defeating defending national champion Boston College Club 17-10 and extending its modest winning streak to three games.
Meanwhile, BC Club has a good chance to strengthen its resume over the next 10 days with games at No. 2 Florida Club and No. 7 Florida State, and a home contest against No. 1 Georgia.
Out west, No. 3 Utah posted a convincing 20-9 victory over Utah State, and No. 15 San Diego State Club enjoyed a good week with two wins, including a 19-9 victory over Grand Canyon.
Key games this week include Georgia against Clemson Club, No. 10 Michigan Club at No. 13 Northeastern, and No. 5 Utah at No. 12 BYU. Other ranked teams returning to action this week include No. 4 Virginia Club, No. 5 Utah Valley, No. 8 Pitt Club and No. 9 Virginia Tech Club.
