This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition. Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.
ALLISON REILLY, ARMY
Talk about a breakout game. Reilly ensured the Black Knights sang second in their annual rivalry game against Navy, depositing nine goals with three assists for single-game program records in goals and points (12). The plebe came into the game with just 13 goals on the season and eight in her last five games combined. She also failed to record an assist since March 25. What a game.
JESS SULLIVAN, SAINT ANSELM
The junior attacker enjoyed a 14-point week in two victories for the No. 14 Hawks, highlighted by a career-best 10 points on five goals and five assists in a win over Franklin Pierce. Sullivan ranks among the NE-10 scoring leaders with 42 goals and 67 points through 14 games and has helped lead Saint Anselm to an 11-3 record.
MADDIE MONTGOMERY, WILLIAM SMITH
William Smith remains perfect on the season, and Montgomery keeps showing why the Herons are so dangerous. She had 11 goals and one assist combined in a back-to-back, with a seven-goal showing against Union on the second end of that back-to-back tying a season-high in goals. The senior midfielder has 58 goals and 14 assists in 2023.
