Top 3 a Combined 43-0 in USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20
It's status quo once again in this week's USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20, with West Chester, Pace and Maryville all remaining undefeated and continuing to own the top three positions.
As the regular season nears the end and conference tournaments get underway, most of the top teams in the poll just keep churning out victories. Notable winning streaks can be found throughout the ranking.
In addition to the undefeated runs by the top three, No. 4 Regis and No. 6 Florida Southern both extended their winning streaks to 10 games last week, while No. 7 Grand Valley State has now won nine straight. No. 8 Tampa brings a five-game streak into this week's SSC tournament, and No. 10 Flagler has won 13 of its last 14.
Basically, the top teams are playing their best lacrosse as they move towards the postseason, which means there are some great games coming just ahead. This is going to be fun.

HOT
Flagler (+1)
Seven goals from sophomore Carley Tepel helped the Saints close out the regular season in style, defeating Lee 18-6 last Saturday to secure Flagler’s second straight Gulf South Conference regular season title. Winners of five straight and 13 of 14, Flagler is the No. 1 seed and host for this week’s GSC tournament.
Florida Southern (no change)
As tough as the Sunshine State Conference can be, from top to bottom, it just never seems to throw the Mocs off-kilter. FSC completed another undefeated run through the league last week with a 22-17 win over No. 11 Lynn, finishing 7-0 in SSC action and capturing the program's seventh regular season title. As the top seed in this week's conference tournament, FSC welcomes fourth-seeded Lynn back to town for Thursday's semifinal game.
Grand Valley State (no change)
The Lakers improved to 4-0 in the GLIAC with back-to-back wins over Concordia St. Paul and Northern Michigan last weekend, outscoring their two opponents 31-6. The only blemish on GVSU's 13-1 record was back on March 6, a narrow 7-6 loss at No. 3 Maryville. Nine straight wins since has the Lakers carrying lots of momentum into the final week.
NOT
Embry-Riddle (-4)
After starting the season 11-1 overall and climbing as high as No. 7, the Eagles lost their way over the last three weeks. ERAU dropped five of its final six games and was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the SSC tournament with a 12-5 loss at Saint Leo.
IN
Saint Leo (at No. 17)
As winners of five straight and seven of their last eight, the Lions are playing their best lacrosse of the season as they prepare for Thursday's SSC semifinal at No. 8 Tampa. Senior Fiona McLaughlin tallied a game-high five goals to lead third-seeded Saint Leo in last Saturday's quarterfinal victory over Embry-Riddle.
OUT
Rollins (was No. 20)
The Tars were eliminated in the SSC quarterfinals with a 12-11 overtime loss at No. 11 Lynn, closing the season with a three-game slide. A 9-1 start to the year had Rollins in the top 10 of the national ranking at one point, but the struggles of the final four weeks drops them out.
