Vermont Retains Top Spot in WCLA Division II Top 20
Last year’s national runner-up Vermont retains its hold on the No. 1 position in this week’s WCLA Division II Top 20, a rank solidified with a 2-0 week that included a 7-5 victory over No. 6 New Hampshire Club. The Catamounts are 5-0 overall and one of six undefeated teams in the Top 20.
Utah Valley, which improved to 10-0 with victories over No. 10 Boise State and Utah State, is ranked second. No. 3 Denver Club, No. 4 Santa Barbara City and No. 5 Cal State San Marcos round out the top five.
No. 9 Missouri and No. 10 Boise State climbed into the top 10 this week, while UC Santa Cruz was the highest ranked newcomer, debuting at No. 13. Other newcomers in this week’s Top 20 are North Texas and Seattle, which are tied at No. 19.
