A staple in our program for decades. Jim was as big of memeber of the Cornell Family as anyone. Can only imagine how proud he was of the team during his last win a week ago vs. Penn State. Prayers and thoughts to the Case family. Jim, we will miss you. https://t.co/x0vLxs8WPt

So sad to learn of the passing of long time Cornell trainer and my old friend Jim Case. There are few better. Jim was a special man and as solid a person as you could know. My thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s wife and children and the Cornell family. pic.twitter.com/a5FjT9zZQ6

Case joined Cornell in August 1988. He was a trainer for the senior men's national team in 1994 and 1998. Both teams won gold medals, and 1998 can be remembered for one of the greatest championship games in lacrosse history.
