With six Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Men’s Top 20 teams playing at Stevenson’s Mustang Classic, there was going to be some movement this week, but the results were more muddying of the water. York and Denison were the big winners, scoring two wins each and moving into the No. 5 and No. 8 spots, respectively, but RIT and Denison suffered their first losses of the season, only to win their other contest.
Up at the top, Salisbury continued to roll through its early season with a lopsided victory, as did Ithaca and Tufts. St. Lawrence survived a scare against Middlebury, but moved up to No. 5 with RIT's loss.
Down the chart, Wesleyan moved up a pair of spots after defeating Middlebury, and Roanoke moves into the rankings at No. 20, replacing Washington College.

HOT
Denison (+7)
A pair of wins at the Mustang Classic, including a lopsided 11-3 result against previously unbeaten Dickinson, vault the Big Red back into the Top 10 this week. They’ve run off five straight victories after their season-opening loss to Washington and Lee.
York (+3)
Another pair of wins in Owings Mills pay off for the Spartans, who replace RIT in the Top 5 after taking down both Nazareth and Stevenson over the weekend. Brendan McGrath led the offensive charge in the wins for York, scoring four goals and assisting five others.
NOT
RIT (-2)
It was a split decision weekend for the Tigers, who fell for the first time on the year on Saturday to Dickinson in OT after taking down Amherst on Friday night by a similarly tight 17-16 margin.
Dickinson (-2)
A lopsided loss to Denison was the first blemish on the season for the Red Devils, but they rallied right back with that OT win over RIT the next day. Dylan Maher scored both the game-tying goal in the fourth and the winner in OT.
NEW
Roanoke
At 5-1, with its only loss coming against Denison in OT, Roanoke enters the fray this week at No. 20. A big test looms Sunday against Salisbury, one of three games this week for the Maroons.
OUT
Washington College
It's been a tough two-game stretch for the Shoremen. First, they dropped their match against longtime DelMarVa penninsula rival Salisbury last week by 13 goals, then they fell to unranked Eastern in their only game this week. An opportunity for redemption awaits on Saturday against Dickinson.
