1. For the second straight Thursday night, Duke played the men’s lacrosse game of the year. A week after beating Syracuse in a thriller, the No. 1 Blue Devils beat rival North Carolina (No. 2) in overtime 12-11 with Joe Robertson (4g, 3a) playing the hero. Matt Hamilton with more from the game.

2. In women’s lacrosse on Thursday, Central Michigan’s Natalie Karlen set school records with 10 goals and 13 points as the Chippewas beat Kent State 21-14. Also on Thursday, Brianna Harris had five goals as No. 11 Florida beat East Carolina 20-9.
3. “The Stick Drop,” our new women’s lacrosse podcast with Sheehan Stanwick Burch dropped its first episode today. Sheehan caught up with rising Maryland women’s lacrosse star Hannah Leubecker. Homeschooled during her high school years, she’s quickly making a name for herself with 35 goals in the Terps first eight games.
