1. Major League Lacrosse's Championship Weekend from Charleston, S.C., kicks off tonight with the year-end awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Lax Sports Network. The championship game between Dallas and Denver will be on Saturday at 7 p.m. and carried live on ESPN News.
The Steinfeld trophy will be in new hands on Saturday.

2. Kathy Taylor, head coach of NCAA Division II champion LeMoyne, will be a featured presenter at LaxCon, the annual US Lacrosse Convention taking place on Jan. 11-13, 2019 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Registration opens in less than a month.
3.Hard-working Peter Milliman has shed the interim title and has Cornell dreaming big again.
4. US Lacrosse is celebrating applications for its National Diversity Grant Program. Last year, US Lacrosse awarded $88,000 in support of local organizations.
5. The US Lacrosse Greater Rochester Chapter is welcoming five new individuals and two teams into its Hall of Fame.
