1. Coastal Carolina hired Rachel Shuck Whitten as its next head coach.
Whitten heads to Coastal Carolina after winning SoCon Coach of the Year, guiding Furman women’s lacrosse to the conference championship game. She led the Paladins women’s lacrosse program since its inception in 2012.

2. Caylee Waters credits the power of positivity with her success in 2021.
Waters, who finished second in the Athletes Unlimited standings last weekend, has maintained her optimistic spirit throughout a summer that included U.S. Women’s National Team training and Sixes Evaluation Camp.
