Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. There was plenty of broadcast news coming out yesterday, including the Patriot League announcing its 2018 lineup to be aired on CBS Sports Network. The package includes 10 men's games and two women's games. The CAA announced its streaming package on the Lacrosse Sports Network, which includes 11 men's games and five women's game - beginning with Georgetown at Towson in a men's showdown on Feb. 24
And one day after being renamed as the head coach of the Chesapeake Bayhwaks, Dave Cottle went on Twitter to highlight the importance of mainstream coverage of the sport.
. I think the Mll is at a pivotal point in league development We have gone from an ESPN league to a ESPN2 ,to a CBS sports, to a ESPN3 ,to now an LSN league. TV is critical to our success as a league. We have to get this right for the players and the owners and the time is now.

2. We look back on the Best of Lax in the December 2017 issue of US Lacrosse Magazine, including the tectonic shift in the college recruiting landscape with new NCAA regulations. And how the U.S. women's national team helped bring lacrosse to the world with the debut of the sport in the The World Games in Poland.
3. Loyola already has one of the best stadiums in the sport at the Ridley Athletic Complex, and now the Greyhounds have an indoor facility to boot.
