1. The January edition of US Lacrosse Magazine dropped for members on Thursday. Lacrosse star Myles Jones graces the cover — a nod to the growing influence of social media in the sport.

The Saskatchewan Rush signed Mike Messenger to a three-year deal, allowing him to join the team for the season opener against the New England Black Wolves tonight. He finished last season with eight goals, four assists, 22 caused turnovers and 92 loose balls.
