Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Led by its Center for Sports Science, US Lacrosse has assisted the lacrosse community in gaining a better understanding of sports-related traumatic brain injury (TBI), including concussions.

New information was published last month in JAMA Pediatrics, a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal by the American Medical Association. It detailed 26 recommendations for prevention, assessment and management of sports-related concussions among athletes under the age of 19.

2. Pro indoor lacrosse is back on Long Island with the New York Riptide set to kick off their season Saturday at Halifax.
