Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Women’s Professional Lacrosse League semifinals today at Yale pit the first-place Fight — a team bolstered by savvy drafting and built-in chemistry from U.S. training camp — against the defending WPLL champion Command and the Brave against the Pride. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN3. The championship game Sunday at US Lacrosse will air on ESPNU (2 p.m. Eastern).
2. England defeated host Israel 10-7 in the Women’s European Lacrosse Championship final Thursday, securing the gold medal and celebrating in style.

Recent Syracuse graduate Emily Resnick was the tournament’s top scorer. She had 25 goals and 12 assists for Israel, which earned a silver medal. Wales took home the bronze over the Czech Republic, which finished in fourth place.
3. US Lacrosse has named 23 players and seven alternates to the roster for the U.S. team that will compete in the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in September. The list includes Tom Schreiber, who ranked seventh in the National Lacrosse League with 94 points for the Toronto Rock this season, as well as NLL All-Rookie Team members Trevor Baptiste and Matt Rambo of the Philadelphia Wings.
