Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Dallas took over first place in Major League Lacrosse, at least temporarily, with a 22-11 win over Boston on Thursday behind five goals from Ty Thompson. The Rattlers are now 6-2, one-half game ahead of Charlotte, which plays at Atlanta on Saturday.

In Thursday's other MLL game, Jack Kelly denied his Team USA teammate Marcus Holman with this save as Denver beat defending league champion Ohio 17-6. Kelly made 12 saves while allowing just four goals in three quarters of action.

2. The second-year hump is the toughest for Major League Lacrosse players says Chesapeake head coach Dave Cottle.
3. It was a big day for Stony Brook's two-time Tewaaraton finalist Kylie Ohlmiller. The No. 1 pick in both the United Women's Lacrosse League and the Women's Professional Lacrosse League, Ohlmiller announced she'll suit up for the WPLL's New York Fight and play in the team's June 23 game. She also announced an endorsement deal with Brine and New Balance.
4. Defending national champion James Madison lost a lot of pieces from its title squad, but the Dukes should be in the national discussion again in 2019. They come in at No 10 in our way early rankings for 2019, trailing Penn (6), Virginia Tech (7), Towson (8) and Syracuse (9).
5. Ohio State was one of the most dangerous teams in the nation by the end of last season. The Buckeyes look to continue that momentum in 2019 and check in at No. 10 in our way early rankings. Just ahead are Denver (6), Loyola (7), Johns Hopkins (8) and Notre Dame (9).
6. Before she was winning the Tewaaraton, Sam Apuzzo was leading her club team to a US Lacrosse youth national championships. The US Lacrosse Nationals celebrate its 10th anniversary with an expanded format.
