Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Emily Hawryschuk is coming back.
The Syracuse star announced her intention to return to the Orange on Friday. She'll be back after dropping 39 goals and seven assists in eight games in 2020 (she scored 75 goals and 19 assists in 2019). Goalie Asa Goldstock also announced she’d be returning to Syracuse.
More from Kenny DeJohn this week.
2. Dave Pietramala spoke with Lax Sports Network over the weekend, touching on his parting ways with Johns Hopkins. He shared his optimism for the future, and made it known that he’s not done yet.
"I can promise you I'll have a whistle around my neck, hopefully sooner rather than later” Dave Pietramala @CoachPetro43

The league made the announcement about the draft Friday. Results will be released on a rolling basis via the league’s and teams’ social media platforms.
5. Last weekend was supposed to be Senior Day for many of college lacrosse’s biggest programs. Players couldn’t be honored on the field, but teams took to social media to show respect.
Starting tomorrow we will honor the 2020 senior class for all they have done to impact this program in their years repping the Block M.

Missing these Big Red Beauties on what would’ve been their Senior Day. This group led us to a perfect 5 - 0 record before the 2020 season was canceled, but they never got to suit up in their home whites for a game on the ‘kopf.
