Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The playoffs are set for the 2021 PLL season.
In a win-and-in scenario, Cannons LC topped Chrome LC 13-10 in Albany behind six points from Paul Rabil. The loss marks the end of the successful careers of Joel White and John Galloway, who announced last week that this season would be their last in pro lacrosse.

In the battle for first place, Waterdogs LC roared back in the fourth quarter to top Atlas LC 10-9 on Saturday. Mikie Schlosser had a hat trick, and Kieran McArdle dished out three assists to help the Waterdogs earn a first-round bye in the PLL playoffs next weekend.
Here are the first-round matchups:
Aug. 20: No. 3 Archers LC vs. No. 6 Chaos LC
Aug. 21: No.2 Atlas LC vs. No. 7 Cannons LC
Aug. 21: No. 4 Redwoods LC vs. No. 5 Whipsnakes LC
2. Athletes Unlimited Week 4 is not over yet.
In a thunderstorm-delayed weekend, Athletes Unlimited managed to fit in four games, with the culmination of Week 4 coming Monday morning.
Team Glynn topped both Team Arsenault (9-6) and Team Wood (13-11) in a successful weekend for the goalie and team captain. Team Wood picked up a 10-8 win over Team Cummings on Saturday, and Team Cummings made it a 1-1 weekend with a 16-9 win over Team Arsenault.
