Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. There were movers and shakers in Athletes Unlimited Week 3.
The AU Lacrosse season is heating up, and there’s a new No. 1 on the individual points leaderboard. Dempsey Arsenault’s big week took her to the top, as her 1,133 points are 45 more than second-place Kayla Wood.
Taylor Cummings, who also had a strong weekend, is 50 points behind Arsenault, while Kady Glynn checks in at No. 4 with just 66 points separating her from the top spot.
The biggest goal of the weekend came from Emily Garrity Parros, who gave her team a win with under 10 seconds left.

2. John Galloway and Joel White are retiring.
Together every step of the way since they went to college at Syracuse in 2007, the best friends fittingly announced their retirements from pro lacrosse together on Sunday. Next weekend’s win-and-in game against Cannons LC could be their last.
3. Mike Murphy has joined the Penn State men’s lacrosse coaching staff.
Murphy, most recently the head coach of The Hill School (Pa.) and the assistant for Whipsnakes LC, last spent time as a college coach when he was at the helm of Colgate from 2012-18.
4. High Point women’s lacrosse announced two key returners.
Abby Hormes and Nicole Pugh will be back for the 2022 season, representing a big boost for the Panthers. Hormes, an attacker, has 209 goals and 72 assists in 62 career games. Pugh, an attacker and midfielder, playing in all 18 games last season with nine goals and six assists.
