1. The NLL kicked off its 34th season this weekend with the Saskatchewan Rush against the Colorado Mammoth on Friday night. Saskatchewan defeated Colorado, 9-8.

2. An interesting report cited a source who said that Rob Pannell is leaving Major League Lacrosse to join the Premier Lacrosse League as a member of the new expansion team.

Others, however, have questioned the report's validity.
