2. There are a number of details to be finalized in the merger between the Premier Lacrosse League and Major League Lacrosse, but a story in The Patriot Ledger quotes Cannons president Ian Frenette as saying the team intends to stay connected to Quincy, Mass., where the team has been headquartered in recent years.
3. There’s still a lot to happen before college lacrosse returns after being on hiatus since mid-March, but things continue to look more promising. Ohio State men’s lacrosse coach Nick Myers told Lax Sports Network’s Travis Eldridge that while the team doesn’t have a bus or hotel room booked as things remain fluid, they’re targeting a mid-February start to its 2021 game schedule.
"Right now Feb. 13th is our target date for our game. We're bringing our men back Jan. 11th, as of now."@OhioStateMLAX coach Nick Myers gave us an update on when the Buckeyes are hoping to get the 2021 season started.
