Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:
1. World Champs!
The U.S. women’s team made history, becoming the first team to win the World Lacrosse Women’s championship on home soil, defeating Canada 11-8 on Saturday in Towson, Md.
THE PARTY IS ON. THE GOLD TASTES SO GOOD.

The last three hours have been a blur. What a time to be alive.
STILL CHAMPS. pic.twitter.com/5ZsPbLq8Ev
2. They’re not done.
Veterans helped paved the way to a fourth straight championship for the U.S., but with young stars like Sam Apuzzo, Ally Mastroianni and Charlotte North stepping into a big role, the future is bright.
3. The U.S. men’s Sixes squad is also in the medal hunt.
After sweeping through it’s pool with a 3-0 record, the U.S. men’s Sixes team plays Japan in the semifinals of The World Games in Birmingham, Ala., today. A victory over Australia on Sunday showed the defensive prowess of the USA squad. How about the hang time on this goal by Colin Heacock on Saturday against Great Britain.
By god that man can FLY.
