Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The NCAA Division I men’s quarterfinals delivered and then some. Three overtime classics, record-setting performances and controversy.

Virginia rallied from five goals down in the fourth quarter, with the benefit of highly-controversial goal, and stunned Maryland 13-12 on Matt Moore’s overtime tally.

Joe Robertson’s overtime goal sent Duke to championship weekend for the 10th time in 13 years as the Blue Devils beat Notre Dame 14-13.

Mac O’Keefe tied a NCAA tournament record with nine goals as Penn State beat Loyola 21-14 to advance to the semis for the first time ever.

Yale and Penn traded body blows all game long with neither team leading by more than two before Yale prevailed 19-18 on Jack Tigh’s overtime goal.
2. The top four seeds in the NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse tournament are headed to Baltimore.

Sam Apuzzo, Dempsey Arsenault and Kenzie Kent combined for 17 points in Boston College’s 17-12 win over Princeton.

Caroline Steele had a career-best seven goals as Maryland dominated Denver 17-8.

Gianna Bowe had three goals and five draw controls as North Carolina doubled up Virginia 14-7.

A seven-goal first-half run helped Northwestern weather a delay in a 17-13 win over Syracuse to reach the semifinals for the first time since 2014.
3. Earlier this month, Adelphi was knocked out of its conference tournament in the quarterfinals. On Sunday, the Panthers hoisted the NCAA Division II women’s lacrosse championship trophy for the ninth time.
4. The NCAA Division II men’s championship will feature Merrimack for the third straight year and Limestone for the fifth time in the last six years.
5. There’s new blood in the NCAA Division III men’s lacrosse championship. Cabrini upset nemesis Salisbury 16-13 to reach its first final and Amherst knocked off archrival Williams 12-8.

6. The NCAA Division III women’s semifinals will have NESCAC flavor with three of the four hailing from New England. Salisbury beat Amherst on a late goal to deny the NESCAC all four spots.
7. US Lacrosse invited 105 players to try out for the 2020 U.S. U19 team. The tryout process begins in June at the national team training center.
8. Towson All-American Zach Goodrich has signed with the MLL’s Boston Cannons. Goodrich was the No. 3 overall pick in both the MLL and PLL drafts, but opted to sign with the Cannons.
