Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. We got a tiny taste of spring this weekend with some live college lacrosse action. Stony Brook produced a live stream of its intra-squad women’s lacrosse scrimmage on Friday night and Kira Accetella scored the game-winner with seven seconds left to lift the Red team to a 23-22 win. You can watch it here.
Check out behind the scenes for warmups of our Red vs. White @StonyBrookWLAX intrasquad game from the Stony Brook Indoor Training Center. First draw at 5 p.m.#BelieveInTheSeawolves https://t.co/nzgbSxIYfV

A pair of MCLA programs — Liberty and N.C. State — also got together with Virginia’s club team for some fall ball scrimmages. Host Liberty won a pair of games and provided the magnificent views from the Blue Ridge Mountains as seen above.
2. After mostly being away from lacrosse for six months, the Marquette men were happy to return to the field. But lacrosse isn’t their only focus.
3. The women of the Haudenosaunee Nation are fighting not only for a spot on the world stage. They’re fighting to change the perception of women in their communities.
4. From Penn State to a gold medal with the U.S. women’s team to the Hall of Fame, Joanne Connelly has had quite the ride in her lacrosse career. Paul Ohanian catches up with her in our latest visit to “The Vault.”
