Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Women’s Professional Lacrosse League made its debut on Saturday with two games at US Lacrosse – a Legends game that included the return of WPLL Commissioner and Loyola coach Jen Adams to the field – and a Showcase game that featured U.S. team gold medalists Ally Carey, Taylor Cummings and Brooke Griffin.
Dana Dobbie’s no-look between the legs shot landed the league on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10.

2. The United Women’s Lacrosse League held its Supplmental Draft on Saturday as well, and former Louisville star Kaylin Morissette was the No. 1 overall pick, going to the Baltimore Ride.
3. Collegiate fallball action got underway this weekend and one of the showcase games was Albany taking down the Iroquois Nationals 18-7, including this behind the back goal from Tewaaraton finalist Connor Fields.

4. Thompson Brothers Lacrosse beat the Frog Pond Maulers 10-9 in the championship game of the Lax All Stars North American Invitational on Saturday on the Onondaga Reservation. Lyle Thompson (4g, 1a) and Dhane Smith (2g, 4a) led Thompson Brothers while Austin Staats had four goals for the Maulers. Staats (16g, 13a) was the leading scorer in the tournament. It hasn't been a pretty couple of weeks for the Baltimore Ravens offense, but running back Alex Collins has been a bright spot. The NFL player played high school lacrosse in Florida and Lacrosse All-Stars put together this video montage of some of his highlights last year.
