1. Daniela Eppler characterizes her heritage with three words: happiness, family and cuisine.

Eppler, whose family emigrated from Mexico to the Baltimore area, is proud of her heritage. The former Virginia women’s lacrosse and current Mexican national team player shared her story as part of US Lacrosse’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.
