Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Team USA Fall Classic headlined this weekend as the U.S. senior men, senior women and under-19 women each emerged victorious against Yale, James Madison and Navy, respectively.

First to compete on Saturday, the U.S. senior men, back together for the first time since winning gold just a few months ago, pulled away from Yale 12-7 behind a hat trick by Matt Kavanagh and three points from Connor Buczek.

“During the game, the guys took on a lot of the qualities of the team in the summer,” U.S. coach John Danowski said.

Next up, the U.S. senior women entered a new era with a new-look roster and new coaching staff, escaping James Madison 14-10 in five periods while keeping an eye on the future. Taylor Cummings led Team USA with five points and 12 draw controls.

“Part of what we’re doing is pushing for this 10-year goal of getting to the Olympics,” U.S. coach Jenny Levy said. “I feel very much that our group will be a big part of that.”

Then after a blue-white competition Saturday, the under-19 women pulled away from Navy in the fourth quarter for an 18-11 win Sunday thanks to many players having college experience, including Duke freshman Maddie Jenner, who recorded 12 draw controls.

“Just the difference from the tryout to the kids that are in college right now, you can see the experience,” U.S. coach Kelly Amonte Hiller said. “Once you get in this competitive environment, you’re forced to bring your game up, and they’re all doing that, so it’s pretty exciting.”

2. Fall ball continued this weekend, highlighted by Yale's, JMU's and Navy’s performances, despite losses.

Against Team USA, Yale was led by Matt Brandau’s four goals, JMU was anchored by Charlotte Haggerty’s hat trick and Kelly Larkin starred for Navy with eight points.

Navy women had its annual fall invitational, Maryland women and Boston College squared off and more. Check out the full fall ball schedule here.

3. Quinnipiac fired men’s lacrosse coach Eric Fekete after a university investigation into team hazing and alcohol use. The team remains suspended through 2018, forfeiting the remainder of its fall ball schedule.
