Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Fifty-two U.S. men’s national team hopefuls trained over the weekend at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.

The three-day camp culminated in a scrimmage Sunday. Marcus Holman, one of seven players from the gold medal-winning 2018 team vying for a spot on the 2023 roster, scored with three seconds left to lift his side to a win.

Preparing for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship next summer in San Diego, the U.S. will be back at USA Lacrosse Oct. 14-15 for the Fall Classic.

2. College fall ball is in full swing, highlighted over the weekend by women’s events at High Point, Hofstra, Johns Hopkins, North Carolina and Siena.

3. Syracuse’s new No. 22 has arrived. Top-ranked recruit Joey Spallina donned the deuces for the Orange during the first week of practices.

4. The long grey line in one picture. The Army men’s lacrosse alumni game brought out six decades of Black Knights.
