Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Princeton’s Kate Mulham scored five goals as the Tigers beat rival Penn 15-13 on Wednesday night at ESPNU. Kyla Sears, this week’s guest on The Stick Drop with Sheehan Stanwick Burch, added three goals and an assist, including this key fourth quarter goal on a hustle play that was ruled to come just before the shot clock expired.

4. Iona, Rutgers, Yale, Ohio State and Duke top the list of women’s NCAA Division I teams that have exceeded expectations this season according to Lacrosse Reference, with the Gaels already 8.5 wins over their expected total.

8. A very compelling thread on Twitter yesterday from the official athletic account of Baldwinsville (N.Y.) Central School District on an incident involving adults confronting an official in a parking lot. Our sport needs better support and appreciation for officials that make the games possible.
We have a major, major problem with how our spectators (Home/Visitor) are treating umpires, referees, & officials (U, R, & O) I just received a report today that after a lacrosse game last week, two officials were confronted by an adult who verbally assaulted them in the parking
