Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Last year’s Tewaaraton winner, Jared Bernhardt, is on the cusp of winning a NCAA Division II title in football — and honoring his father’s legacy.
Bernhardt was also just voted as the fan vote winner in our Best in Another Sport contest in our #BestOfLax series.
The #BestOfLax winner for Best In Another Sport just so happens to be competing for a national championship with @FerrisFootball on Saturday.

2. Justin Bieber told Syracuse’s Kenzie Harris that she had the voice of an angel. Music got her through a period when she went three years without playing the sport, and it may be her future.
@CuseWLAX player Kenzie Harris might have wowed #JustinBieber with her genre-blending vocals, but her most influential fan will always be her brother, Jake.

3. We’ve named our NCAA Division II Preseason Players of the Year — LeMoyne’s Ben McCreary and Indianapolis’ Peyton Romig.
4. Converse University head coach Taylor Woolard with an inspirational message to her past and current players in this week’s IWLCA Behind the Whistle blog.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
Notre Dame went next level with its signing day videos for its football program. Creative, original and just downright fun. Here’s one of their recruits with a lacrosse background – Aiden Gobaira, a starter on the lacrosse team as a freshman at Chantilly (Va.) High School who was on a path to play that sport collegiately before emerging as one of the nation’s top football recruits.
