Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:

1. Cast your votes!

We’re continuing our #BestOfLax2022 campaign with voting for the Best Game of the year. North Carolina, which won the Best Comeback category, is in the running with two games from this past spring season.

Check out the details on each nominee here before voting in the poll below.

2. The “Fate of a Sport” documentary is coming to Hulu on Friday.

The film, which documents the early days of the Premier Lacrosse League and follows its co-founder, Paul Rabil, through the end of his playing career, originally lived on ESPN+.

3. Rachel Vallarelli is still inspiring.

Vallarelli signed a contract with the PBLA’s New England Chowderheads, making her the first female to sign with a professional men’s indoor team. In December 2020, she wrote for us and detailed her own inspirations and goals.

We reshared that story yesterday, and you can read it here.

WHAT WE’RE READING

  • Sport Resource Group’s ProWall is a must-have for box training.

  • Colby College’s Kelsey Howard was inspired to think on “the little things” after attending the IWLCA Convention.

  • Per Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse: Stanford football captain Ricky Miezan, a former top-ranked junior lacrosse recruit who had committed to North Carolina, is entering the transfer portal to play lacrosse as a graduate student.

  • A profile on No. 1 incoming freshman Joey Spallina by IL’s Terry Foy.

  • Clemson has broken ground on its new athletic facilities, including a state-of-the-art lacrosse-only facility.
