Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. History for Virginia Tech.
The Hokies picked up their first win over in-state rival James Madison Wednesday night, coming back from down two goals in the second half to down the Dukes.
Also on Wednesday, No. 20 UConn survived a test from Fairfield, and No. 18 Drexel scored the final three goals to down Penn State. No. 1 Boston College and No. 2 North Carolina also won in dominant fashion.

2. Vermont gets into the win column at Panzer Stadium.
Liam Limoges dropped five goals to lift the Catamounts to the 16-10 win over Penn State.

3. The IWLCA announced its 2022 Hall of Fame class.
The Class of 2022 includes current Princeton coach Chris Sailer and former coaches Dorothy “Dotty” Hall (St. Lawrence) and Jan Hathorn (Washington & Lee).
4. USA Lacrosse released the 2022 Tierney Field schedule.
The headliner features James Madison and UConn matching up this Saturday in Sparks, Md. Over 25 college games will take place at Tierney Field between now and May.

5. Lacrosse legend Brian Silcott is a man of many roles.
Silcott, the PLL’s head of player experience, majored in theater during his college lacrosse career at Nazareth. After a successful career in Major League Lacrosse, Silcott now spends times elevating the sport he loves via the PLL and USA Lacrosse.
6. Taylor’s Takes returns for Week 2 of the women’s college lacrosse season.
The U.S. women’s national team star writes about her satisfaction upon seeing the wealth of women’s lacrosse action on ESPN networks and touches on the incident involving Howard women’s lacrosse.
