Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The home of Maryland women’s lacrosse will be getting a facelift as part of a larger university athletics project. The Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex will more than double in square feet as part of a $4 million plan.
2. The Gait brothers are back in business.
After a four-year hiatus, Paul and Gary Gait are re-launching Gait Lacrosse, with hopes of revolutionizing the women’s lacrosse game once again. More on Gait Lacrosse’s plans to improve the game.
I’m so fired up to work with my brother who has so many amazing pattens in the manufacturing side of lacrosse. I remember when we were right out of college and he came up with the concept of padding all fitting together with removable pieces. Revolutionary from the beginning! https://t.co/LhFnupcSgQ

3. Lehigh checks in at No. 18 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men’s Preseason Top 20.
With a healthy Andrew Petit posing an offensive threat, and a faceoff duo of Connor Gaffney and redshirt freshman Mike Sisselberger, the Mountain Hawks could test Loyola for the Patriot League crown in 2020.
4. Colorado will enter the 2020 season a young team looking to carry the momentum from last year’s NCAA run.
Goalie Julia Lisella leads a group that sits 18th in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Top 20. With three juniors and five sophomores starting, the Buffaloes could experience some growing pains early.
5. The U.S. Senior and U19 national teams made the trip to San Antonio for Spring Premiere last weekend. Combined, the U.S. went 2-0 against Japan in addition to the U19 team topping Team Premiere and the Senior team hosting a Blue-White scrimmage.
