Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Pride Lacrosse (Va.), Yellow Jackets (N.Y.) and Monster Elite (N.Y.) won championships Wednesday in the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals at DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, Del.

Yellow Jackets got the championship round started with a 5-4 win over STEPS (N.J.) in the 14U final, followed by Monster Elite’s 11-5 win over Team 180 (Colo.) to claim the 15U crown. Pride defeated the Yellow Jackets’ 13U team 5-4 to close out the event, which featured a record 80 girls’ lacrosse teams.

2. USA Lacrosse concluded its first-ever Sixes training camp Wednesday with a mixed scrimmage in which some of the top men’s and women’s lacrosse players in the world traded sticks and had a blast.

3. The NLL announced its realignment and extended playoff format for the 2021-22 season. The league is returning to a two-division East and West alignment. Albany, Buffalo, Georgia, Halifax, New York, Philadelphia, Rochester and Toronto will play in the East. Calgary, Colorado, Panther City, San Diego, Saskatchewan and Vancouver comprise the West. Opening weekend is Dec. 3-4.

4. St. Andrew’s (Fla.) boys’ lacrosse coach Tony Seaman compared Sean Jordan to Dave Pietramala, guaranteeing that the junior defenseman and USA Lacrosse South Player of the Year would be as good as any college lacrosse defenseman that’s ever played.

5. Maddie Dora might be the best player ever to come through the storied Milton (Ga.) girls’ lacrosse program, coach Tim Godby said of the USC-bound attacker and the USA Lacrosse South Player of the Year.

6. It’s PLL All-Star Week. Some players are preparing for the game Sunday in San Jose and others are getting much-needed rest. They’re all grateful to be playing in front of fans again.
