Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Jeff Teat, a three-time All-American once ranked the No. 1 recruit in his class by Inside Lacrosse, has somehow become underrated. The projected top pick in the NLL draft might be unassuming, but he’s just as bright a star as his peers.
From the upcoming April edition, check out the must-read feature by Nelson Rice here.
Maybe it's his appearance or quiet demeanor. People have slept on Jeff Teat.

"This guy doesn’t look like an athlete. He looks like he might be a skateboarder. With a soaking wet t-shirt on, he’s probably 140 pounds."

2. The World Lacrosse board of directors announced it will determine the status of the 2020 men’s U19 World Championship in Ireland in April. The tournament is scheduled for July.
3. Justin Lafleur of Lehigh Athletics wrote about the broad spectrum of emotions experienced by the Lehigh women’s lacrosse team after learning that its season had ended prematurely. The message is about much more than just Lehigh and much more than just lacrosse. Check it out here.
4. Victor (N.Y.) has won four state boys’ lacrosse championships since 2015, but its 22 seniors might not even get the chance to step on the field in 2020.
“I would hate to have them not have any semblance of a season,” coach Jim Andre told Will Cleveland. Read the story here.
5. ESPN’s Anish Shroff joined Paul Carcaterra on Overtime this week, and we learned a lot about the dynamic play-by-play announcer. Here are a few takeaways from their candid (and sometimes emotional) conversation about the lost season.
