The USA Lacrosse Boys’ High School Players of the Week include Mount Sinai’s Joey Spallina, who had a Suffolk County (N.Y.) record 13 assists in a single game.

The USA Lacrosse Girls’ High School Players of the Week include Stone Ridge’s (Md.) Grace Muldoon, who had 21 points in three games, including a pair of wins over previously No. 1 nationally-ranked Georgetown Visitation.

Kevin Sheehan has watched his dad, Dan, will NCAA titles for LeMoyne. Now he gets to go try and win one himself.

Robert Morris announced on Wednesday that it is eliminating its NCAA Division men’s and women’s ice hockey programs. The school will now have 15 varsity sports, including men’s and women’s lacrosse.
