Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The National Lacrosse League was slated to cancel the first two weeks of the season if it hadn't reached an agreement with the Professional Lacrosse Players Association by 5 p.m. on Wednesday night, but put that on hold with word of a new proposal coming from the PLPA.
.@NLL statement: "Based on the fluidity of the discussions between the NLL and the PLPA and most recent conversations, the league has been informed by the PLPA about a forthcoming proposal. Therefore the league is suspending its 5pm deadline regarding the start of 2018-19 season" https://t.co/3t1S2g1JGz

2. Former Stevens coach Celine Cunningham was honored with the Diane Geppi-Aikens Memorial Award at the IWLCA Honors Banquet on Wednesday.
3. Our Gym Rats series continues with a pair of coaches — Jacksonville men's coach John Galloway and Connecticut women's coaches Katie Woods and Kacie Lewis.
4. Lots of high seniors are starting to sign their National Letters of Intent to play college lacrosse. A sampling of the joy of dreams being fulfilled:
