Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The MAC is coming to women’s lacrosse. And Eastern Michigan will have a team in the conference.
In a pair of news items on Wednesday, the Mid-American Conference announced that it will sponsor women’s lacrosse starting in the 2020-21 season. Also, Eastern Michigan announced that it will start a varsity women’s lacrosse team playing in the MAC in the 2021-22 season.
All-sport MAC members Akron, Central Michigan and Kent State will be joined by associate members Detroit Mercy and Youngstown State for the 2021 season with Eastern Michigan bringing the league up to six members.
2. Former U.S. national team assistant and college coach Liz Robertshaw has been appointed as executive director of the IWLCA, the organization announced Wednesday.
Robertshaw will take over for former director Gothard Lane, who will retire following a success 12-year run.
3. Dick Corrigan, the legendary former Maryland great and Yale lacrosse coach, has died, the Corrigan family announced Wednesday.
Corrigan won the 1955 national championship with Maryland and took home the Turnbull award in 1958 as the Nation's Most Outstanding Attackman. He also spent nine seasons at the helm of the Yale program.

4. The Chesapeake Bayhawks forged a championship culture en route to their sixth MLL title this fall.
With a veteran core and plenty of young contributors, coach Dave Cottle and his team found the recipe for success in the new MLL.
5. The WPLL is engaging with fans on Instagram with its #LiveLikeAPro series.
