Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:

1. Have you purchased tickets for this weekend’s Fall Classic?

The action begins Friday night at 7 p.m. with the U.S. men’s national team — full speed into preparing for next summer’s world championship in San Diego — playing in a Blue-White game. Come see your favorite USA heroes or professional stars under the lights in Sparks, Md.

More info here.

2. The Brogden Cup is also this weekend at USA Lacrosse HQ.

Nearly 90 of the top high school players in the country will get a taste of international competition when the Brogden Cup renews this weekend as part of the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.

The USA Select teams, featuring 22 players each at the U16 and U18 age groupings for men’s and women’s lacrosse, will compete alongside teams from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Ontario over three days from Oct. 14-16.

3. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has spoken out about Pat Spencer’s NBA training camp.

Kerr called Spencer “a really intriguing prospect” after the 2019 Tewaaraton Award winner dropped 11 points against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Spencer remains a long shot to make the Warriors out of camp, but he’s at least caught the attention of the coaching staff.

4. Nine lacrosse greats will be enshrined in the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Continuing or Q&A series with the inductees, Ryan McClay and Sheehan Stanwick Burch — both of whom will be inducted as truly great players — reflected on their respective careers.

5. How did Jared Bernhardt make his way to the Falcons?

It turns out that Falcons head coach Arthur Smith is a lacrosse fan — and he’s committed to developing the 2021 Tewaaraton Award winner, too.
